Before I went away, I had the chance to work with these great models again for a laid back shoot, just for the fun of it. I’ve shot in this space a lot and not liking to do the same thing twice, I really tried hard to mix it up. That involved shooting using some new techniques I’ve never done before. One of those techniques is called free-lensing, where I hold a lens detached from the camera body at certain angles to create a creative blur and lens flare effect.
I also ditched my typical lighting on this shoot and used all natural light and a little video light.
