Second shooting for another photographer has to be one of the best growing exercises you can do as a wedding photographer. Not only are you learning from the person you are shooting with, but you can afford to experiment a bit and try new techniques. You can take more chances that you can’t normally take when you are the primary photographer and have to get the “safe shots”.
This wedding, I was fortunate to second shoot with Sheldon Parsons. I had a blast shooting with him, just like I did when he shot with me earlier in the summer, so needless to say I’m bummed about the fact that he has recently moved to Toronto. I think a road trip might be in order for next summer!
See Sheldon’s official blog post here.
Now onto Shanna and Brad. Thank you guys so much for welcoming me into your wedding day, I felt just as at home as I do when I shoot one of my own weddings.
