The Isle of Skye has been on my bucket list of places to visit for a while now. And it was great to finally check that off, even if it meant driving 20 hours on the other side of the road, sleeping in a truck stop parking lot, getting lost down goat paths and being eaten alive by midges. Then through a random connection (thanks Christine!) I was able to photograph a couple while I was there. Perfection.
Elaine & G have a story I’ve heard too many times. They weren’t happy with their wedding photos. So instead of just doing a couples session, they brought along their wedding kits and wellies, and we did a bridal session too. I have to say, spending the afternoon with them chatting about everything from Darwin to Jammie Dodgers was definitely the highlight of my time on Skye.
